Our Chester bus tour begins at City Road/Station Road which crosses over the scenic canal as we head towards Foregate. Take in the pretty views from our open-top bus or hop off to do some shopping!
Hop off at St John’s Church, Vicar’s Lane – the oldest church in Chester. Founded in the late 7th century by the Anglo Saxons, St John’s Church is located near the River Dee. Explore and take a stroll by the river or head across the road to the Chester Roman Gardens (near stop 6). Take in the natural beauty whilst indulging in Chester’s history as you explore.
Don’t forget to visit Grosvenor Museum and Chester Castle at stop 8!
End the Chester bus tour by visiting the Chester Racecourse – the oldest racecourse in the world! Established in 1539, this racecourse is one of the smallest with a full circuit being just 1.8km! Plus, it’s just a minute walk to Chester’s most famous landmark, the City Walls!
